Overcome Depression - Encourage Loved Ones

Many people today are seeking help for problems in their lives.  Few people are looking to the Creator for help.  God knows how to fix your life better than anyone, but you have to accept the help that He offers.  Through faith in God, you can overcome depression and other hardships of this world.  The apostle John said, “For whatever is born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that has overcome the world-- our faith” (1 John 5:4).  You can gain the victory, but only with God’s help.  The Bible commands us to have the mind of Christ and God has given to us, through the Bible, all the tools we need to achieve the mind of Christ.  Decide right now that you are going to overcome this world.  You must put your trust in God.  God loves you and will help you if you will only listen to Him.  Sixteen Days to a Healthy Mind contains sixteen solutions found in the book of Philippians that will put your life on track and give you the mind of Christ.  By using these principles, the Apostle Paul was able to overcome every obstacle that confronted him.  This workbook is a great tool for individual study, group Bible study, and for counseling others.

About the Author - Steven Sprouse is an evangelist for the church of Christ in Rocky Ford, Colorado.  He has a Bachelor’s of Theology from the Bear Valley Bible Institute in Denver, Colorado.  Steven and his wife, Heidi, have two children, Hannah and Caleb.  Throughout Steven’s ministry, he has recognized the need for people to turn to God for help with their problems.  Knowing that God has all of the answers, Steven uses Biblical counseling rather than secular methods when counseling people.  He has seen great success with those who are willing to listen to what God has to say.
